with Nóirín Ní Riain PhD and Lucia Guerin
Imbolc is the Celtic festival of Spring, marking the halfway point between the Winter solstice and the equinox.
Imbolc means ‘in the belly of the mother,’ as both the earth and livestock are carrying life in their wombs at this time. It is not that winter is over and spring has already come, but the celebration of the signs that spring will come soon.
Brigid the triple goddess is celebrated at this time of new beginnings. She is the power of healing. She is the muse that inspires poetry and the smith that creates craft and transformation. Brigit is the Goddess of Imbolc, the vision of the hope of spring.
Join Lucia & Noirin as they explore the blessings and gifts of Brigid at this time of rebirth.
