There comes a point in life when self-development is no longer enough.
When what we long for is not more knowledge — but remembrance.
REMEMBERING -Â Tabhairt chun cuimhne
Origins of Sound, Land & Lineage
A three‑day residential gathering in Spanish Point, Co Clare
29 May – 1 June 2026
with Lucia Guerin and special guest Lorraine Nà Ghairbhith
What Is REMEMBERING?
In Irish, remembering is Tabhairt chun cuimhne
A bringing back into awareness.
A restoring of what was never truly lost, only quietened.
This is not about learning a language.
It is about returning to sound as living vibration.
In practice, over these three days we will:
- Enter sound as a living, felt experience rather than an intellectual one
- Allow Sanskrit and Irish to re-attune the body to what it already knows
- Sit in a held circle where voice, silence and listening can do their work

Why Sanskrit & Irish?
The sounds of Sanskrit carry the vibrational architecture of existence.
Each syllable precise. Embodied. Resonant.
The sounds of Irish carry the rhythm of this land — stone, tide, wind, story and belonging,  the poetry and songs carried through generations.
Through Sanskrit, we remember our universal nature.
Through Irish, we remember our connection to place and lineage.
When these sounds are spoken, sung and felt in the body, something ancient begins to stir.
A Special Guest
Guiding the Irish immersion is Lorraine Nà Ghairbhith, whose work honours Gaeilge as living sound — rooted, embodied and alive.
Together we explore Irish not as vocabulary, but as utterance — restoring relationship to land through voice.
What We Will Explore
• The sonic origins of Sanskrit and Irish
• Mantra, traditional sound patterns and vocal resonance
• Irish poetry, song and the living soundscape of the land
• Creative expression through voice and spontaneous sound
• Deep listening practices
• Restoring relationship to voice, imagination and intuition
Â
Poetry opens the listening heart.
Song opens the breath.
Sound opens the body.
Together they restore a creative relationship with voice — where expression becomes a way of remembering who we are.
No prior knowledge of Sanskrit or Irish is needed.
Only curiosity.
And a willingness to listen.

A Rare Convergence
Gatherings like this are uncommon.
To bring Sanskrit and Irish together
not as academic study,
but as living vibration,
is rare.
To do so in an intimate residential setting,
overlooking the Atlantic,
is rarer still.
Only a small circle will gather.
Each voice shapes the field.

Join us · Remembering · Tabhairt chun cuimhne
REMEMBERING is not about returning to the past.
It is about restoring relationship — with voice, with creativity, with land and breath.
Remembering is Tabhairt chun cuimhne —a bringing back into awareness.
If something in you longs to reconnect with the deeper soundscape of life — voice, poetry, land and lineage — perhaps this gathering is calling you.
The sounds came before the written word.
They are still alive in you.
Only a small circle will gather.
Each voice matters.
Each presence shapes the field.
If you feel the call — trust it.

About Lorraine
Retreat Terms
Thank you for feeling the call to gather in this work. These agreements are here to support clarity, care and mutual respect — so that the retreat container can feel safe, steady and well-held for everyone.
Your Place
Your place on the retreat is secured upon receipt of your non-refundable deposit of €100.
As spaces are limited and costs are committed in advance, booking represents a commitment to the full retreat fee, whether you choose to pay in full or via an agreed payment plan.
Choosing a payment plan is simply a way to spread the cost and does not alter the full amount due.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel, the following terms apply:
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the retreat: refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made 7–30 days before the retreat: 50% refund
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the retreat (including non-attendance): no refund and the full retreat fee remains payable.
If you are travelling, I strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
If the Retreat Is Cancelled
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel the retreat, all payments will be fully refunded.
Shared Responsibility
This work is participatory and experiential. By booking, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own wellbeing throughout the retreat. Please reach out in advance if there is anything I should be aware of to support you.
A Final Word
These terms are not here to create rigidity, but to protect the integrity of the space we are entering together. Clear agreements allow the retreat itself to be spacious, gentle and alive.
Thank you for meeting this work with respect and care.
