Cancellation and Refund Policy

The Listening Field is operated by Lucia Guerin in County Limerick, Ireland.

I understand that circumstances can change. This policy explains what happens if you need to cancel a booking or if The Listening Field has to cancel or reschedule an offering.

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under Irish or EU consumer law.

How to cancel

Please email lucia@listeningfield.ie with your name, the email address used to book, and the name and date of the offering.

Your cancellation takes effect when your email is received.

Your statutory cancellation rights

When you purchase certain services or digital content online or by telephone, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of booking.

If you ask for a service or access to digital content to begin during this period, your right to cancel may be affected once the service or access has begun.

Some fixed-date services, including certain workshops, retreats, accommodation and leisure activities, may be exempt from the statutory cancellation period.

The terms below apply in addition to your statutory rights.

Live events, workshops and live online courses

• More than 14 days’ notice: full refund or transfer to another available event.

• Between 7 and 14 days’ notice: 50% refund, or you may transfer your place to another suitable person with advance notice.

• Less than 7 days’ notice: no refund will normally be available, although you may transfer your place to another suitable person with advance notice.

Once a course or series has begun, refunds are not normally available.

Where a recording is included, it will be provided as described on the booking page. Receiving a recording does not create an additional right to a refund.

Exceptional circumstances will always be considered with care.

Professional practitioner training

Booking a complete professional training reserves your place across the full programme. If you pay by instalments, this is a payment arrangement for the complete training fee rather than payment for separate weekends.

After any statutory cancellation period has ended:

• At least 45 days before the first training weekend: 95% refund of the amount paid, with any remaining scheduled payments cancelled.

• Fewer than 45 days before the training begins: fees are non-refundable and the full programme fee remains payable.

• Once the training has begun: fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, and any outstanding instalments remain payable.

At Lucia’s discretion, a payment may be transferred once to the next available equivalent training, subject to availability, suitability and any difference in the fee.

Serious illness, bereavement and other exceptional circumstances will be considered individually.

No refund is available for a missed training weekend. Any catch-up arrangements and associated costs will be explained in the relevant training information.

Bookings already accepted remain governed by the terms provided and agreed at the time of enrolment.

A standalone introductory training weekend is covered by the Live Events and Workshops policy unless otherwise stated.

Residential retreats

Residential retreats may have specific cancellation and deposit terms because accommodation, catering and venue costs are committed in advance.

These terms will be provided before booking and will form part of your booking agreement. Deposits are normally non-refundable once any statutory cancellation period has ended.

One-to-one appointments

You may cancel or reschedule without charge by giving at least 48 hours’ notice.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full. Emergencies and unexpected circumstances will be considered with care.

If I cancel your appointment, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.

On-demand courses and digital content

Please contact me within 14 days of purchase if you wish to cancel and have not accessed or downloaded the materials.

Once access has begun, change-of-mind refunds are not normally available, subject to your statutory rights.

If you experience a technical problem, please contact me so that I can help restore your access.

Listening Field Community membership

You may cancel your membership at any time through Kajabi or by contacting me.

Your future renewal payments will stop, and you will retain access until the end of your current paid billing period. Partial refunds are not normally available for unused time.

If The Listening Field cancels or reschedules

If The Listening Field cancels an event, course or appointment, you may choose a full refund or transfer your payment to a rescheduled date or another suitable offering.

If an offering is rescheduled and you cannot attend the new date, you may request a full refund.

For an individual weekend within a longer practitioner training, an alternative date or suitable arrangement will be provided.

The Listening Field cannot reimburse independently booked travel, accommodation or other personal expenses.

Problems and refunds

If a service or digital course is not provided as described or cannot be accessed, please contact me. Depending on the circumstances, the solution may include restoring access, rescheduling the service, a proportionate price reduction or a refund.

Where a refund is due, it will be issued within 14 days and normally returned through the original payment method.

Cancellation notice

You do not have to use a particular form. Your email should include:

• Your name

• The email address used when booking

• The event, course, membership or service being cancelled

• The purchase or booking date

• The date of your cancellation request
