A gathering in shared voice, song, poetry and silence

Join me for an intimate gathering in my home near Murroe, Co. Limerick.

These gatherings weave together kīrtan, heart songs, poetry and silence. We may sing mantras and simple songs in Sanskrit, Irish and English, allowing each piece to lead us more deeply into listening, presence and connection.

Some songs are offered in a call-and-response form; others we sing together. Poetry is woven through the gathering—not as something to analyse, but as another way of listening and meeting what is present.

From time to time, I’m joined by guest musicians and singers, such as Fran and Tadhg, each bringing their own voice and musical presence to the gathering. Details will be shared whenever a guest is joining us.

You do not need to think of yourself as a singer, know the songs or have any previous experience. The melodies are simple and repeated, and you are welcome to sing, listen or simply be present.

Together, we create a field of sound in which each individual voice is held by the whole.

Some people let me know they are coming through the Kīrtan WhatsApp group and pay when they arrive. You are very welcome to do that.

If you prefer, you can also book and pay online in advance.
