Listening Field Guest Session - February 2026

- Beneath the Frozen Ground – Sacred Listening & Sound Journey for Imbolc

  • Sunday, 15th February, 2026
  • 7pm – 8.30pm GMT
  • Online over Zoom

In this online session, Jo-Anne will guide participants through a gentle Imbolc-inspired practice of sacred listening, reflection and sound.

The session begins with a short poetic text, read slowly and repeatedly, inviting participants to listen beneath the words and notice what stirs, a phrase, image, or felt sense. Rather than analysing or “figuring anything out,” participants are encouraged to let their own meaning arise through listening.

From there, the practice moves into a grounding sound journey using a heartbeat rhythm with drum and singing bowl, supporting a deeper connection to the body and the quiet life stirring beneath the surface, like seeds resting in the dark, preparing to rise.

This is a spacious, nervous-system-friendly practice that honours the Imbolc energy of gestation, patience and gentle emergence. Sharing is optional, and no prior experience is needed.

To have with you during the session, something that will create a sacred space for you, your journal and pen, and headphones for the shamanic journey is optional not required.
