Music as Medicine

Alistair: I learned to play guitar at the age of 14. Music became my therapy, allowing me to be with and process difficult feelings and experiences as I was maturing. Music was also a great source of inspiration, acting as a catalyst and guide to my spiritual growth. It particularly resonated with deep existential feelings, as if it held the keys to some mystical truth. I still feel this today, when I listen to, teach, or play music. For me, it touches the core of what it is to be human, whilst simultaneously vibrating on a level that is truly cosmic! In this way it does one of the greatest things that we are here to do - to unite Earth and stars within our own embodiment!
